Toledo Restaurant has been serving patrons of NYC & beyond for fifty years. Since its inception in 1975, we have been recognized as "serving the city's best Spanish" (The New York Post). Toledo Restaurant began at 55 West 35th Street in New York City. In 1991, Toledo moved to its elegant and more spacious location in Murray Hill at 6 East 36th Street between 5th & Madison Avenue.
The move to our current location was to provide our guests with a vibrant and inviting dining space that specializes in the rich and diverse culinary traditions of Spain. Many have come to call us 'classic, old-world & handsome' (Zagat 99, 01, 02), with its carefully appointed decor from all regions of Spain. My friend is elderly and likes a quiet restaurant with table covers which are now few and far between in NYC. We had dined here back before 2000 and decided to try it again for our holiday meal. Just perfect! The food was wonderful and service was excellent. Thanks for a memorable dinner...
My first visit with my dad is an excellent experience! The regal atmosphere feels like we are transported in Barcelona, Spain. I love their service and high quality food. This restaurant has been operating since 1975 so you can feel their history. I highly recommend coming here to eat Classic Spanish cuisine and enjoy your experience.
