Toledo Restaurant has been serving patrons of NYC & beyond for forty years. Since its inception in 1975, we have been recognized as "serving the city's best Spanish" (The New York Post). Toledo Restaurant began at 55 West 35th Street between 6th & 5th Avenue, where we stood the test of time for sixteen years. After that, Toledo moved to its present more spacious location in Murray Hill, to 6 East 36th Street between 5th & Madison Avenue.


The move to our new address was not only to acquire more room for our diners but also a chance to show our true colors. Many have come to call us "classic, old-world & handsome" (Zagat 99, 01, 02), decorated in Spanish artifacts from all parts of Spain like Toledo, Sevilla, Madrid, & even Galicia. Much of our staff has been with us for over Twenty years. When you come to Toledo you can expect reliable and consistent food & service, whether it is to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, family reunion, host a company Christmas party or a baby shower.
